I am really struggling to make this pattern. I almost feel as if you have left out a step. I get down to row 17 and end up with 27 stitches, I don't know how you get it down to 12 dc when you start with an odd #. You have directions for row 2 ws, should there be a row 3 rs? Your video doesn't help either because you skip ahead after row two to where you finish the 17th row and are down to 12 dc. It doesn't help that you don't talk in the video either. Could you please give me some advice, I really like your pattern but after trying 3 times and asking a friend to help too I am about ready to pick a different pattern.
ReplyDeleteHi, sorry for the late reply. I think you made a mistake every time you started on a new row. On row 2 after you ch 3, skip the very first st and dc2tog in the next 2 sts because that ch 3 will be counted as your first dc. Don't dc in the same st where you ch 3. I hope that helps.
