The Happy Unraveler

Hello fellow unraveler, sorry to keep you guys waiting but as promised the video tutorial for this top is now up on my YouTube channel.

Have you tried to make the bikini bottom?
If yes then you won't have much problem making this top because the pattern is pretty much the same you only need to know how to do the increase and decrease.

This pattern actually is quite similar to the Quick & Easy Crochet Top, but instead of making the strap without breaking off the yarn, I made the strap separately after I've finished making the body.

I wanted to make this pattern as simple and easy as possible especially for beginners, but if you want to make the strap continuously without having to rejoin the yarn after you've finished the body, just follow the strap pattern from Quick & Easy Crochet Top.

You can buy the ads-free clean printable PDF version of this pattern here.

If you don’t understand any part of this pattern, please refer to the video tutorial.

Simply make more rows for longer strap or eliminate a few rows to make it shorter. For wider straps, make more than 3 sc.

Flip right side out and you’re done!

Hello everyone! I posted a photo of this bikini set on my Instagram account a few days ago and now I've finally finished editing the pattern and video tutorial for the bikini bottom only! I will post the pattern and video tutorial for the top soon.

Well if you're familiar with most of my patterns like the Crochet Bodycon Dress, this pattern works the same way from side to side. You only need to know how to do the increase and decrease. But once you understand the method, I assure you don't have to refer to the pattern anymore.

This pattern is quite simple and plain but if you want to make a more complicated design just follow the method and create your own design. You can create edging, use filet/motifs, or try use different stitches. Following this design as your foundation, can you imagine all the different design that you can create from this method. .

Anyway, if you don’t understand any part of this pattern, please refer to the video tutorial on my YouTube channel.

You can buy the ads-free clean printable PDF version of this pattern here.

Hello everyone!

I am so excited to share another crochet project that is easy to make and beginner friendly today.
A crochet clutch that I added studs to make it look more fashionable and chic.

Here it is..taadaaa :D

What do you think? Cute isn't it.

I guess you don't even need a pattern for this because it's so easy to make but I want to keep the pattern here in my blog so I can refer to it later for my own reference.

~Anyway if you don’t understand any part of this pattern, please refer to the video tutorial on my YouTube channel~

Crochet Studded Clutch

Yarn:
100% acrylic medium weight Lion Brand Heartland (136-098) Acadia.
You can use any type of yarn you prefer. Approximately 90g.

Hook:
4.5 mm crochet hook.

Materials:
Hook and loop tape, studs, metal chain strap (optional).

Gauge:
2 rows of 30 sc = 7.5 x 0.5 inches

Clutch size:
Width x Height = 7.5 x 5.5 in

Stitches used:
Chain stitch (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc).

Abbreviation:
Stitches (sts), stitch (st), space (sp), next (nxt).

Instructions

Foundation chain:
Make a slip knot and ch 31.

Row 1:
Sc in 2nd chain from hook and across, ch 1, turn.

Row 2 - 82:
Sc in each sts across, ch 1, turn. Total 82 rows.

Side seam:
Fold and join side seams together with single crochet.

Refer to video tutorial how to join side seams without breaking off yarn and where to sew the hook and loop tape.

Cut hook and loop tape = 6.5 inch.
Leave 0.5 inch space on both side for side seam.

You can sew the hook and loop tape inside before or after you join side seam, or use zipper whichever you prefer.

Edging:
Continue to single crochet around the flap cover, sl st in nxt st, ch 1.
Fasten off.

Add studs on flap cover with any design you like. You can also add metal chain strap and turn this clutch into a sling bag.

And you’re done.

Enjoy and happy crocheting :)

Wohooo finally!! I made a partner for the Coxa Bikini Top. Actually I made the pattern last year but I hesitated whether I should share the pattern or not because I was so frustrated with the edging. It doesn't look good and I kept changing the pattern. So I left the project for a while and continue to make another project 😅.

Then I resumed to make this bottom, filmed the tutorial, started to edit the video and guess what happened? I lost some of the clips, I don't even remember whether I accidentally deleted or I did not filmed it at all. So I abandoned this project again because, one I can't get the edging right, two I don't have that one short but crucial part of the video, and three I still don't like the edging.

Days gone by and I saw this bottom lying lifeless, cannot come to life with his partner and my heart just can't take it anymore😳 So I picked him up, redo the missing part of the video, rewrite the pattern and now I am so happy at last he can be with his partner Coxa Bikini Top!...okay forgive me for talking nonsense I'm just happy for him haha.. So for those who have been asking where he is? He is here!!!!

Anyway I hope you get the idea how to make a bikini bottom from the tutorial and if you don't like the edging just like me, try to create your own pattern but if you like it thank you so much.

😊Together let's make a better crochet bikini bottom😂

And I made a table for the sizes so it will be easier for you to refer instead of including all the sizes in the written pattern. What do you think?
